But I didn't want people to feel this way playing my game 😬😬😬 Be proud of what you accomplished in 10 hours, focus on what you've learn or experiment, take feedbacks from other devs, remember what choices makes you lose some time. Maybe you'll have to face that code or game design choices once again and then it will be easier to make a decision because you already faced it before... Next time, it will takes you maybe 7h and you'll be prouder, then 4h and then 3h! Focus on what you've learn to progress, discover new tools that makes you save some time and helps you create juicier and more polished games!
And by the way your game Wonky Gems isn't as bad as what you are saying for a first game :p !
I always organize my jams a way that half of the time is spent producing the game while the other half is only for polishing the concept. Polish is really important to me!
